Amy Seusing is the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations for the Obama Foundation where she leads the team focused on national and global institutional giving. In this role, she oversees a team portfolio of more than $150million of corporate and foundation donors in support of both the future Obama Presidential Center and direct programmatic work. She joined the Foundation in 2019 to create the institutional giving program with a focus on building out the team and strategy to implement the Corporate & Foundation pillar of the capital campaign, creating industry standard-and challenging- benefit levels and engagement opportunities, and identifying robust capital and programmatic portfolios for her team. Prior to joining the Foundation, she was the Vice President of Development at the national housing and community development nonprofit Rebuilding Together where she led the creation of an individual giving strategy, a national cause marketing campaign; [Re]Build, and national fundraising trainings for more than 130 local affiliates around the country. Before that she worked in event and corporate fundraising at international nonprofit Africare, and local nonprofit Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries (Goodwill) in Boston. Through this experience, Amy has created local, national and international fundraising strategies with high impact partnerships. Amy is based in Washington, DC and has a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
